A Special Six Week Series

At Nutracon 2009, as part of the Weight Management track chaired by industry icon Loren Israelsen, companies were given the opportunity to present innovative weight loss ingredients in our first annual “Slim Slam”. One of the ingredients featured in the “Slim Slam” caught our attention and we decided to give it an in-house trial. The ingredient we chose is Luralean by ADM and for the next six weeks we are going to ingest it, test it, blog about it and answer your questions. Follow us on this six week journey as we report our recommendations, recipes and results!

We’ll also be using this blog in a broader sense as a forum to get the industry engaged about trends, issues and applications of healthy and natural ingredients. We’re hoping to create a go-to spot for industry members to stay up and informed on the latest and greatest as we tap into the Global Supply Portfolio; Functional Ingredients, NPIcenter, SupplyExpo and Nutracon and other health and nutrition industry resources….
