More Cake

I’m reaching the end of day three and I have a few safety tips to share. First, note to self: DON’T IGNORE YOUR FEELING OF FULLNESS because you really are full. After lunch today I was very satisfied, even three hours after eating, so when the news went around the office that there was a birthday cake to share I thought I would go, but not eat. Wrong. I love birthday cake (you’ve seen the pictures) especially the kind with the sickeningly sweet frosting. I couldn’t resist and ate a piece even though I was wasn’t hungry and now I feel STUFFED. Second, don’t eat right after you’ve taken Luralean. The instructions tell you to wait a half hour and that is good advice. Last night I was starving and couldn’t wait the half hour so I ate a regular sized dinner. Yikes. A regular sized dinner feels like an entire pizza in your stomach after the Luralean expands. Not a good feeling, don’t do it. Third, and this is from Penny, do not take Luralean and then exercise. Enough said.

This stuff really seems to work and the interesting thing is, as Penny found too, it seems to work better with each passing day.

I’m getting on the scale tomorrow morning…….

GRAS Status for Sabinsa’s Saberry™

Sabinsa Corporation received Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS) status for its branded superfruit ingredient Saberry™ – Emblica officinalis Gaertn., after a comprehensive review of safety and toxicology data by an independent panel of scientists with international repute assembled by Soni & Associates, Inc. I think it might be working….

4/23 - Here I am on day 3 and I must confess, I think the LuraLean is starting to work. No, I haven’t lost any lbs yet, but I am starting to feel more full… this morning I couldn’t finish my bowl of cereal and in fact I probably could have stopped eating it about 5 spoonfuls before I did, but I felt bad wasting so much. Tomorrow it’s a smaller bowl from the start. Also, by the time I get to work I’m usually hungry again or at least by 10 am (which is kind of weird I know), so far still feeling completely full. Also, a very good sign.

So what else can I tell you… like Jen I concur that the ingredient is tasteless, however it does tend to chunk up a little in water. Meaning at times you can feel a little like you’re drinking flavorless cream of wheat, slightly odd but not really unpleasant. Also, it’s interesting to see how the ingredient forms almost a gel on the side of the glass as it dissolves…. I can imagine what it’s doing in my tummy. You can sort of picture how it expands and coats, pretty cool. We are working to get the comments turned on for the blog, when they’re up and running perhaps someone would be interested in explaining in scientific terms what exactly the LuraLean is doing… I’ll post some more details about the product for analysis.

Stay tuned Jen and I are talking recipe trials with LuraLean in the near future.
