Ribs & Chicken
Well the day of truth came, and it was good news…. 3.5 lbs lighter! Of course a long ways to go but hey it’s satisfying to know its working.
Jen (and our standards guy) are right, exercise is an important part of any diet/lifestyle. Like Jen, and most ladies in Boulder I too enjoying hiking with my dog. I used to belong to a gym but just found it was too hard to get there with work, life etc. I now have workout dvd’s I recently ordered to bring the gym home and make sure I kept up with getting exercise every day. I’ve never ordered anything off an infomercial in my life, except these videos….what can I say I got suckered. They are called the 10 minute workout; of course you are advised to do more than 1 10 minute workout for best results. It’s a quick way to get exercise at home, and they are actually pretty hard, in 10 minutes you work it! I honestly feel stronger already. So the combo of eating less and getting my heart rate up is having a lot of impact and hopefully it will continue too.
Now you might be wondering about the title of the post… this weekend I head to Memphis home of music, ribs, and fried chicken. I tell you I don’t plan on resisting any of the 3, you really don’t have the opportunity to eat good bbq (unless it’s home cooked) or fried chicken in Boulder, so I plan to live it up. However, I’m sure the LuraLean will help me resist the urge to eat until I have to be rolled out of the restaurant!
